Definition:
A less common, but still not sensibly replaceable term for the continuation of the East Styrian reedlands east of the Lafnitz valley, in which Styria only has a share at the foot of the transition between Rohrbach and Friedberg (called North-East Styrian Plateau by LEITNER in 1956). The area hardly differs in structure and appearance from the East Styrian Riedelland, if one disregards the decrease in absolute and relative altitudes in the direction of SE on the Burgenland side (which is not relevant in this context).
