Definition:
Well-established name for the low mountain range culminating in the Rabenwaldkogel, 1280 m, between Wechsel, Feistritz and the edge of the Alps between the exit of the Feistritz and the Lafnitz into the foothills. In addition to crystalline rocks on small areas around Birkfeld and Vorau, tertiary loose rocks are also involved. The massif of the Kulm, 975 m, separated from the rest of the Joglland in the breakthrough of the Freienberger Klamm, can be separated as an independent sub-area. (Author: Prof. Mag.
